## Standard PB+J

In a standard PB+J, we will choose smooth creamy peanut butter, sweet grape jelly, and a medium-firm, square, white bread loaf. Grill this sandwich quickly in a pan with some butter over high heat for a special treat.

### Ingredients:

- 2 slices white bread
- 1 tablespoon and a little extra bit of concord grape jelly
- 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon of butter (optional)

**Note:** The optimal ratio of grape jelly to peanut butter is roughly 5 parts peanut butter to 3 parts jelly, but do adjust based on your personal preference.

**Directions:** This recipe is very simple. You have two pieces of bread, pick one to spread peanut butter on, and spread your jelly on the other one. If you are toasting this sandwich, it's best done in a pan with some butter in it over high heat. You will want to avoid prolonged heating because once the peanut butter hits a certain temperature it becomes very liquid and will make a mess.
